Big News from West Shore Frames!
A Letter from the President

Dear Friends,
West Shore Frames is pleased to announce that we have forged an alliance with our good friends at Master’s Frame Shop Supply, an Indiana based company, to continue providing high quality commercial framing, moulding, and picture framing supplies and services to our customers.
West Shore was founded September 23, 1985 by myself, Betty Lou Curatolo, president, and my mother, Mary Jane Curatolo, vice-president. We grew from a small, family-owned local picture framing distributor at Canterbury Road, to a larger, family-owned national wholesale distributor, importer, and wholesale commercial framer. West Shore had planned a year-long celebration of our 35th Anniversary this year, with monthly blowout warehouse sales, culminating in a huge party and sale celebrating our 35th Anniversary on September 23, 2020. If you have attended our famous Anniversary Sales in the past, you know what I mean! (Mary Jane’s chocolate chip cookies are the stuff that legends are made of!) But unfortunately COVID-19 put an end to that. The year 2020 turned out differently than planned for us because of the global pandemic. But as you well know, it has changed plans for the entire planet.
We have accepted an offer to purchase our current excellent facility on Clemens Road, which we built and moved into when we expanded in 2001. It is being bought by a large company outside the framing industry, and will be remodeled and expanded to serve as their national headquarters. So West Shore Frames will no longer operate at this Ohio location.
The first person I called about an alliance to continue serving the picture frame customers of West Shore was Shah Javid at Master’s Frame Shop Supply. Master’s is the same type of company as West Shore- a family owned and operated picture framing distributor and commercial framer with decades of experience in the picture framing industry. They believe in the same age-old adage of providing superior customer service with a personal touch. Master’s delivers high quality workmanship at competitive prices. I have personally known Mr. Javid, the owner of Master’s, for over 20 years. West Shore and Master’s have collaborated in the framing industry through the former IFDA (Independent Framing Distributor’s Association) and the WDA (Wholesale Distributors Association).
Master’s is the company that I trust to continue and even enhance the picture framing legacy of West Shore.
I am excited to announce this alliance, and will remain personally involved with West Shore at Master’s as a sales consultant in the Northeast Ohio area.

These numbers will be forwarded and answered by Master’s employees at Master’s headquarters starting Labor Day week. Master’s has already started fulfilling West Shore orders, and effective immediately, all future orders will be shipping from Master’s Headquarters in our neighboring state of Indiana. When you place an order by phone, remember to specify that you are referred by West Shore, and ordering a West Shore wood moulding number.
Website orders and requests are also being processed and shipped directly from Master’s headquarters, so the process should be seamless. The website will be updated in the next few weeks to reflect this big news, so watch for it.
More good news: You will now have access to not only most of West Shore’s picture framing products, Nielsen Metal moulding, and West Shore wood moulding collections, but also Master’s extensive line of goods. This includes Designer Metal moulding, the Woods of Designer Moulding, plus many other picture framing supplies and moulding from additional manufacturers. To house the additional West Shore product line, and enhance Master’s already extensive commercial framing and shipping capabilities, Master’s has recently added an additional warehouse to their Indiana headquarters!
