Description
Film-O-Plast P. Extremely thin, highly transparent self-adhesive paper mending tape. While similar to the Filmoplast P-90, Filmoplast P uses a lighter paper carrier that becomes transparent when applied. Filmoplast P with its non-yellowing, age-resistant adhesive is ideal for repairing and mending tears in documents and artwork. Used by museums and archives for the repair of torn paper. Ideal for hinging light, delicate, very thin or semi-transparent artwork or artwork done on rice paper, where you do not want the hinge to show through. After burnishing becomes almost invisible: to achieve optimal clarity burnish with #FS2095 burnishing bone. Maximum bonding power is achieved after 15-20 hours. Being self-adhesive eliminates any danger of cockling or damaging the paper with excess water. Both the paper carrier and adhesive are mildly buffered with calcium carbonate and can be removed from stable paper surfaces. pH Neutral, Acid-Free, .8"x164' roll. Each roll is packed in its own dispenser box to keep the tape clean prior to use.X
